The calm, easy-going mirror did not mind dealing with the trivial matters of raising a clan.
Even when he had to split up fights between the young dragons.
They were always so on edge.
He really couldn't blame them, though.
Who knew the things that lurked in the darkness of the Forum of the Obscured Crescent?
The ruins of the forum always seemed to cast eerie shadows over the clan.
Even the Light dragons were affected by the pressing darkness.
Euryptarid wasn't bothered by this.
He had made the journey himself, after all.
It had been a long and arduous trek, but he had made it.
Not many dragons were aware of his part in raising the then struggling clan.
They had always thought of him as a lazy old dragon, content in spending the rest of his days in a corner of the lair and not doing anything else.
Euryptarid loved it when they underestimated him like that.
Not many knew that he was one of the main fighters, either.
He particularly enjoyed the look on their faces when they saw his skill and strength in the coliseum.
But there wasn't much to do, nowadays.
Dragons came and went, hatchlings grew up and left, and they could only live so long in this dangerous world. Someone would have to guard this clan.
