When Caudex and Scriven came across the little band lead by a pair of Plague they were not sure what to think. The Arcane Partners thirst for knowledge. LokenC, the ball jointed familiar started to record possible data at the signal of Whiff, the Puppet Familiar.
LokenC was outfitted with a recorder and rudimentary analyzing software that activated at Whiff's peculiar snout behavior.
Whiff, the Bogsneak Puppet, has a nose that normally grows in the presence of Liars and Tricksters. His little trick has been "upgraded" and can sense large secrets. Though not very well. In this case it had responded to meeting Samen and Warden which keyed up the Recorder in LokenC.
The pair watched what LokenC found...

"No. NO. Stay away, you are a LIAR." the speech was more garbled than when the interaction had happened. Coming out of LokenC in a staticed humming-hiss. The Fae himself had blurred edges. Caudex and Scriven thought this was simply how LokenC picked it up until the Guardian came in clearly in the black and white image. She scooped the Fuzzy-imaged Fae up, face contorted in badly checked irritation.
Her words were clear and crisp echoing to them "Stay a short time if you need company and safety but I feel it best that you leave. Samen is recovering from Illness. I am sure it has not escaped your notice that we are Plagueborn. I do not like things that upset him to stay."
They thanked her and retreated. This Samen has not responded negatively to Scriven. He seemed to barely notice that he existed in the presence of Caudex.

"Tha's interestin' that." Caudex says quietly. He opens LokenC and pulls out a book, opening to a blank page he rewatches the short exchange and freezes it on the best view he has of Samen, lost now in his world of inscribing he begins to draw the figure before him in careful strokes. He catalogs everything in pictures and keeps the notes made by his mate in a functioning order.
Scriven curls around the Nocturne to rest. They were going to move on after a cursory look around at the new forming Clan...but now it seems there is something here to stay and learn more about...
