Note to self: She is going to change the way messages are handled in the territory. Her birds, which will be animated from flowers instead of fire, are faster and more efficient then the current method of delivering mail. So she will be teaching the messengers to create the birds, or whatever, to deliver the mail. This also puts Welen at ease as his messengers will no longer be putting themselves in direct danger by delivering mail. Pancake is a bit...odd. Incredibly superstitious, she has a myriad of habits that she preforms regularly and things she refuses to do, like pour sugar with her left hand. As for her job, she creates birds out of fire, and sends the creatures about the clan to carry messages. The birds are very fast, and despite their looks, have never once singed a letter. Her magic is not very strong, but she knows how to use it well. However, her job isn't only delivering messages. She also entertains hatchlings with her birds, participates in the planning of festivals, and helps to baby sit familiars when needed. She is more then capable to hold all these duties, even if she's strange about it at times. Pancake acts somewhat like a bird herself! She enjoys adding feathers to her apparel and moves with quick darts that would be much more suited to a fae then to an imperial. Red is her color without a doubt. The runes on her skin are not easy to see, but glow faintly whenever she uses her magic to create a bird. She also enjoys tasting Nanner's cooking. Her patience is high, and she is kind and loving to those around her. At the same time, she doesn't allow them to slack off. When needed, she can and will use tough love to help her loved ones grow. She enjoys quizzes and riddles and is one of the experts on the subject.
