One of the first dragons to join Antoni and Odinn's clan, once they had settled on a lair, was the young albino guardian, Njord.

Hatched in Plague territory, he had wandered through the Tangled Wood and skirted the edge of the inland sea before reaching the Stormcatcher's lands, when he was still quite undersized, and bore the scars to prove it. The pale guardian was ill-suited to full daylight and bright sun, with his weak, light-sensitive eyes, but quickly took on night sentry duties and proved an apt conversationalist and storyteller, with many tales from the lands he had traveled through.

For a time, he seemed a bit enamored of Antoni and weirdly aggressive around Odinn, and in fact sired Antoni's second clutch, but her lack of reciprocated or sustained interest eventually lost its lustre and matters settled back into normality between them after some embarrassment on his part.

Njord remains with the clan, and is on generally good terms with the other adults, though the younger hatchlings sometimes fear his eerie stare or colorless bulk suddenly rising out of an unseen hollow in the moonlight. His early lack of a steady diet seems to have stunted him from ever reaching his full length, though he has since filled out, but if his wingspan is any indication, he might have been a giant otherwise, easily rivaling the largest imperials of the clan.
