Red eye was brought into this world from lone plague egg and hatched into a Clan of dragons that could only be called Sorneiths worst. Scammers, Liars, Cheaters, Sadists and Murders that were loosely held together by a Tyrant, half the dragons in that clan were concerned with their own wealth and longevity but the other half were concerned for the clans, albeit loosely. This was the only reason that Redeye survived his hatching. Their leader's second in command, a mirrior named Conrad reared him since his hatching. Redeye's childhood was the definition of " Not Sure How He's alive." as most of it was spent fighting Conrads actual children for his own food that they kept stealing, as a result the Fae developed very light fingers yet a very heavy strike. He grew with Conrad and his Sons, looking out, stealing, cheating and lying for them whenever nessecary. Which just happened to be all the time but, besides the point.
Time came that too much attention was drawn to the clan their Tyrant needed to move them. Redeye protested this and was almost killed on sight, resulting in the scars on his hind legs. He was left in the BlackSand Annex bleeding out as he watched his clan fly away from him.
However, Conrad, however murderous couldn't abandon the fae. He came back from him, patching up his wounds fast and telling him that he was found in the wondering contagion, he'd be wise to go back there. The last words that Redeye heard from the dragon that reared him was that he'd be around, Redeye knew where to find him if he would ever need him again, but it'd be wise to not need him.

Having gotten the general idea that he could never go "Home" ever again. Redeye spent his time wondering Across the Ashfall waste, into the Windswept Platue, and eventually into the Wandering Contagion. In that time Redeye met many dragons, of all species and elements. Redeye saw many things, saw life out from under a Tyrants rule, saw the beginnings of a humble yet strong clan of Wind Mirriors who he stayed with for some time before leaving. They'd later become his clans allies much to his unknowingness at the time.
When he came across Tamara he'd been starving, he'd been desperate and ready to kill if nessecary but she matched him virtually blow for blow. Eventually the Fae gave in, figuring that she'd kill him rather than ask him "Where in Plaguebringers name he learned to fight like that." Then give him free food and somewhere warm to stay for the night.

Starting the clan with Tamara was easy, fathering hatchlings that were not his own was surprisingly second nature to Redeye, controlling full blown dragons that they just randomly took in that loved to start mayhem without getting violent with them was harder however. Redeye was fine regardless of this, sending his own sons and daughters to Plaguebringer and rolling with whatever the world threw at him and his clan. There was not a morning he woke up that he wasn't thankful for still being here regardless of how bad it got, regardless of how many times Burrich and Upshur woke him up in the middle of the night asking him about some weird fish they caught or Etc. Regardless of the fact that he lost his young to the Famine(s) Redeye always woke up thankful to be next to Tamara, to be in a place he could truly call home and knew it was that to those that served him.

Redeye created the Red Virus Regiment so that the "regular" Dragons of the clan, those without high ranks could find their spot in the clan with some form of work but still be of use when it came time for battle. He spends a considerable amount of time around these dragons when he's not with Tamara, he's also responsible for bringing the Ambassadors in which only furthered Bloodclans ability to thrive. Redeye hasn't had a scrape with anything horrendous in a good long time. However with the bones that are being left near the lairs entrance with the intricate marks on them that no one recognizes. He's starting to wonder just how far his past actually went from him.
