Ambrose
Past/Current
Injured Mage At a young age, Ambrose showed magical potential. He was a cruel hatchling who learned to use arcane fire very quickly, often burning the tail tip of his sibling should he creep too close. As the first to hatch from the eggs, he was destine to rule before all others. However, when a tantrum lit his body aflame, and his horrified parents could do little more than watch as he ravaged his room as a pink, burning whirlwind, they quickly sent him away to the Mage's College to learn to control his powers. Through their harsh lessons and strict code of conduct, he learnt little more than bitterness and hatred. His powers grew ever stronger, and through practice his control over the pink flames that lapped at his claws grew with them. He became their top student, but he had no love for them. When he was deemed ready to graduate, he lit that entire hell on fire, and burned his diploma, not even ash to its name. He traveled back to his home and took back his birthright, to which his naive and simple brother had been keeping hold of since his departure. He was immensely unpopular with the people, who has been forced to face the backlash of his banishment from his home with a famine he had unknowingly created. Still, he continued to ignore them, more focused on building military power and lavishing himself with royal perks and riches. Eventually, his snobby attitude and rude demeanor became cause of a revolution, and his parents fled the kingdom without a second thought to him. They tried to take his brother with them, but he refused, fighting off villagers and guards turned to mutiny to save him from the rushing crowd. Never mind his efforts, Ambrose sustained a major back injury, and found he could no longer feel or use his back legs. Eos found them shelter, and cares for them both. Ambrose has no thanks for his dimwitted sibling, considering the damage he had done to him. He has vowed to take back his kingdom one day, once he had either healed himself, or found a ways around his injury. Making Do With some collaboration with Magnesium, the ridgeback surprisingly friendly with Ambrose, a device was crafted to help him move around, never mind his injuries. Carefully swaddled in cloth, Ambrose's legs are bent and padded with a plush, silk lined blanket. A strap is placed around his middle, and attached to such is a metal platform. The platform has three, large metal wheels attached to it, which allows Ambrose his movement. Though he requires to help of his brother to put it on or remove it, being able to at least take walks around the Sheep Clan territory is a huge relief for him. He has even become less ornery, and willingly accepts his brothers help in using the device. (In a humanized form he would simply use a wheelchair) N/A |
