Lemur is the clan librarian or to most dragons: a walking library. Lemure loves to hoard books of any kind but her favourites are history books. Lemure contains a vast amount of information and often younger dragons would ask her plenty of questions. She enjoys spending time with young dragons and occasionally her mate Sunrise. She often shares stories of the different parts of the world. Lemure often spends hours of her day educating young dragons about the world of Sorneith. Of what gods and goddesses await for their prescence. Most of the hatchlings of the clan become life long servants to the windsinger but those who wish to stay gets to stay. Although a select few hatchlings remain in the clan, most dragons are willing to serve their diety believing that serving such a great cause can bring good fortune to the clan. Lemure has had to say goodbye to many of her students that she taught. She is no professional at teaching but Koi insists that she does. So many of her hours were spent on educating the young and teaching older dragons of the lair about the many hazards of the world. She enjoys her story telling and tries her best not to drag it out too long or her stories will become boring. Her knowledge of the world doesn't just come from stories and books. She often visits the neighbouring lands on every elemental festival, when dragons are less focused on staying inside their lairs and more in the coliseum. Treading in unfamiliar lands still comes with its dangers, so often times a warrior such as Stripes would accompany her in her flight. She would take certain specimens of plants and rocks back home to keep. From her many travels, she would often attempt to stay hidden from the main roads of dragon activity, especially whilst the festive favours. Lemure also enjoys taking frequent trips to Joxar for new pieces of apparel and familiars, bringing back the exciting news to the clan warriors and clan leader Digitzohran. Often times she would hold onto stacks of currency to trade with Joxar, she sometimes questions why Joxar would want so many stacks of currency and what he does with it. Lemure's relationship with Sunrise is an interesting one, Sunrise isn't a very enthusiastic coatl and is fairly bored or lazy at times. Although she suggested that he'd be the clan healer, apart from his job he often would hang around the lair sleeping or playing games. Lemure has often tried to convince him to go outside for a change and see the world but he wouldn't budge. When Sunrise is in a good mood, he goes 180˚ and becomes very energetic and excited. He would show Lemure new magical abilities and would often follow and listen to Lemure's many stories. Lemure doesn't seem to understand the sudden personality shift but she doesn't mind it and would like it if he'd had more of these moments of happiness. She may not know a lot about Sunrise's past and often hangs out with him even at work. Despite her personality, she often spoils Sunrise with all kinds of trinkets and books she found interesting. Together they would spend hours chatting away under the night sky. Lemure also has a hidden fascination with the stars. On top of the library lies a large telescope able to look at all kinds of stars. She would often write stories about the stars coming down and giving her precious memories, where the gods reside and look after her each day. Spending time alone in books can be boring so she stargazes often. Wondering about how small she really is compared to the sky. Other times, she would have to bury her head in books to summarize topics in her own personal library of her mind. |
