Biography
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Peace? Ha. Peace is for cowards who do not trust their own strength. Peace is a crutch used by the weak in a desperate bid to wrongly control the strong. Peace is the one enemy I shall not face, for if I am to fall it shall be in glorious battle. I am named after the condition others claim I have, the insatiable thirst for combat, for victory at any cost. I am Bloodlust.
My conquest strives to eliminate the beasts who dare to claim we are at fault for the world's ruin. They strive to destroy our territories, scavenging our lands, our goods, our very bodies, all to claim a trifling life. My path for conquest took me to the Windswept Plateau, plagued by the populations of both Harpies and Talonok. They strived to conquer the nests of weaker clans, and I encountered one such ruined nest after a week's exploration. Smoke still drifted from the remains of the nests, so it was recent. So recent, in fact, Talonok were still sifting through the remains, looking for goods they could scavenge. With a mighty roar I plunged into battle, my claws swinging wide, my roar shaking the very ground. As I fought, I noticed I had an unusual ally; a six-horned ram had charged in, using its weapons to great effectiveness. Amused by its efforts I vied to defend it, and between us we had soon repelled them. My partner did not see me as a saviour, however, and charged fruitlessly against my armour. I sought something to placate his temper; however, the act of not attacking him seemed to calm him by itself. I left, satisfied with the battle, and my new partner followed.
Though I had defeated this band of scavengers, the war was far from over, and I soon realised the severity of the situation I found myself fighting. The northwest had been infested by the Harpy witches, while the Talonok parasites had the southeast. I could not fight this enemy alone, so sought a clan to use as a base of operations. A dragon of my might is not turned away, and a young clan was eager to take me in for their own protection. It is with them I now remain, my dreadram partner accompanying me on the long, blood soaked path I walk. I am Bloodlust. I am the saviour to those that follow me, and the warlord to those that oppose me.
