The Boy
The Last Guardian

The boy wakes up in a strange place. He has no recollection of what has happened since he last went to sleep. Groaning, he opens his eyes and looks around the place.

Where is he?

He starts a little when he sees that his arms are covered in strange markings.

When did he get them? Who has done this?

As he is looking past the marks of his arms, he scrambles back in alarm. There is a huge monster laying asleep right next to him.

It's a Trico! What is he doing here with a Trico!

The Trico starts groaning and moaning. The boy scrambles back a little more, even as he looks around for a way out. There is no obvious way out right now. He looks dubiously at the Trico and wonders if he can befriend it, instead of have him regarded as food.

The boy looks around for something, anything to help their predicament. He also notices that the Trico is riddled with spears. The Trico needs help itself. As the boy gets up, he tries to approach the Trico cautiously. He gets growled at weakly.

The boy manages to pull one spear out of the Trico before he has to look around for some way to appease the creature a bit.
