about.The 'real' Astra is a Progenitor and can't leave her home lair. Visit her here. ‹━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━« ~ She had been missing for many years. Her oldest had grown and left, her lost mate had grown old and taken on his charge as his partner. Everything she had known had changed. She was left alone, limping back to the protection of the clan walls. Things were different here. Things were much different. Her vision had faded for the most part, though she could see. She wore proudly her frequent kills from her time serving her mother, but she had grown tired. She grew homesick. Astra wanted to return -home-, and her spirit led her back where she belonged. Covered in scars from her time serving under the Plaguebringer as a warrior, she often jumps at the smallest of sounds. Raphael believes she suffers from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, and rarely sleeps. She rarely lets anyone comfort her, isolating herself from everyone else, unsure how to really become one with the clan. Often described as restless and cold, she tends to avoid other dragons to avoid snapping at them. Part of her wonders why she has even returned. She provides great leadership in hardships, forming the council of the clan. The council consists of trinket, herself, Plaguebringer and Raphael. Therefore everyone has their own input on how to handle things. Other than the council meetings, Astra has taken a liking to the garden, though Inkheart had surprised her by her presence, Astra soon realized how calming the garden was. She often keeps Inkheart's opinion in mind when making decisions and often brings the imperial gifts. Astra's more calm in the clan now, though her distress is still obvious. Raphael is working to try and help her sleep and regain her life. ~ As her journey through recovery progressed, it was suggested by Raphael that she take an extended vacation with him to a neighboring wind clan in which they had been allies with for many years. Raphael spoke of his son staying there, so after many nights of considering, Astran decided to go. She said it was purely to negotiate trades. She didn't want her fear to be prevalent. Once they arrived, Astra met a coatl named Quetzalcoatl. He had noticed her obvious discomfort at the unfamiliarity, and decided to invite her away from the crowd. He led her to a quiet lake, and shared his tea with her. She quickly noticed his injuries, and realized how similair their backgrounds must have been. They sat in a comfortable silence, simply enjoying the peace of the lake. Often Quetzal might make a soft remark, and even managed to get a snort from Astra every once and a while. She was finally comfortable. While still extremely sensitive to loud and abrupt sounds, and quick to draw her blade, Astra seems to be in a more calm state, leaving her duties for extended stays with Quetzal. She returns home only to discuss council ordeals, visit her daughter and to bring supplies. |
