Biography

KOdxDmI.png Andromeda | demon

"An unusual demon with a strong disposition towards justice. Outcast for his virtue from demonkind, Andromeda joins the ranks of the Wildclaw Knights to help protect the monsters of the Woods. Holds the illustrious rank of Exalted Knight not only for his strong plague magic and demonic illusionary powers but also for his valor in protecting dozens of monsters.

Andromeda's illusion powers are formidable. The images that are conjured are material, allowing them to interact with the real world. "

I have no choice but to run.

He was out of options. His own kind had turned against him- though perhaps it was a bit of a stretch to consider him one of them. He had never fit in nor felt like he belonged to in the realm of demons. He had always been an outsider, looking in on the hatefulness and chaos they caused...

He had never been like them, but he had done his best to seem as similar as he could stomach. His life depended on it. Demons had never been known for their merciful nature, after all.

But he had gone too far out of the norm this time. He exposed himself when he refused to take part in the "fun", as his brethren called it. Now he was being faced by an angry clan of demons ready to strike him down for holding such disgraceful values to demonkind- an actual sense of morality.

Demons were immoral creatures. To have a sense of right and wrong was completely against their ways- and his kind did not take kindly to dissenters.

He had grabbed a large sword before trying to make his escape, just in case. He did not have a problem using it, as long as it was for good reason. And this, he thought, certainly qualified as such a time.

"Traitor! Stop! You are not allowed to leave this realm," One of his clan mates shouted at him as he strode away. Andromeda only stopped when two bigger demons ran in front of him to meet him.

"Move. I'm not afraid to fight you." Andromeda growled lowly to the two blocking his path.

The two laughed. "Since when have you demonstrated any kind of strength, Andromeda? You probably possess hardly enough power to move an insect." One goaded.

Andromeda resisted the urge to let out a huff. It was true he had barely ever fought- or at at least fought with them. But at night, it was not uncommon for him to sneak out and practice alone....

Andromeda gave them a short smile. "Fine. I will be leaving then. Do not come after me."

Before the two could form a sentence to respond, Andromeda had bound them with inky tendrils of darkness. Andromeda gave a wave goodbye before tearing a portal in the ground.

The two demons were stunned. Surely no weakling could possess such a power- summoning portals was usually reserved for only the strongest of their kind... And this magic! It was formidable in its own right.

Andromeda only spared one last look at his home, the realm of the demons; it was a dark and horrible place, filled with nothing but creatures and foliage that killed and terrified. The whole land was twisted. He was eager to leave it once and for all- and with that, he jumped into the portal into the unknown.

* * * * *

The trip through the portal was rather unpleasant. Andromeda had landed flat on his stomach, crashing hard onto the ground. It took him a minute to gather his bearings and senses, but once his eyes focused, he was stunned.

This real was full of color and light and beauty, unlike anything he had seen. The earth he had fallen on was covered with green grass and plants with vibrant colors. His heart was racing, and for once it was not with fear- but with excitement.

"Hey!" A voice called from behind him. Andromeda turned around to face the stranger.

The stranger was a dark black and purple Wildclaw that was approaching him slowly. On his hip, Andromeda noted he had a slim and sleek sword. The stranger waved at him as he got closer. "Hey, are you oka.... Uh..." The stranger trailed off as he got a better look at Andromeda. Confusion was plainly seen on his face. "Um, are you okay?" He asked.

"Yes. I landed a bit harshly but I am uninjured." Andromeda said, ignoring the stranger's stares. "I am Andromeda, and you are?"

"I'm Pollux," The dark dragon said. "...and I can't help but notice that you uh, seem to have six wings..."

"Ah, yes. It appears that I do." Andromeda stated plainly. "What of it?"

The dark dragon straightened to his full height. "What are you?" His features had gone from confusion to distrust.

"I am a demon. But I intend no harm. In fact, I am on the run from my fellow demons," He said. He figured there was no point beating around the bush.

The dark dragon reached for the hilt of his sword. "I see." He paused. "I need you to come with me. I can't let you be out here by yourself."

"And what are you going to do with me?" Andromeda asked.

"I'm going to take you to my clan for evaluation." Pollux said. "We will decide if you're a threat or not."

Andromeda nodded. "I suppose I have no choice in this. But I will not put up a fight with you. In fact, I will go willingly, as a gesture of good will." He laid his sword on the ground and pushed it toward Pollux.

"Good." Pollux said. "Come with me then. It's not far."
