Biography
Adrian von Gryff
Said to be descended from a griffon prince who relinquished his powers to be with his mortal lover, the von Gryff family is well known and respected throughout the land. Adrian's parents had a marriage of convenience, her father the title bearer of Lord von Gryff and her mother coming from a wealthy merchants family. Once she was conceived, Adrian's father disappeared and her mother passed away giving birth to her. Desperate to keep the title, Adrian's mother's family decided to raise Adrian as the next Lord von Gryff. As such she excelled in fencing, archery, and even hand-to-hand combat. Being of a similar age to his son, it was no wonder Karl's father came to Adrian for help.
