Vili is one of the three gods of creation nd one of the first Aesir gods to exist. He is the middle brother to Odin and Ve. All three of them were known for creating the Cosmos by slaying the giant Ymir and using his corpse to create it. This act ended the rule of the giant race and started the rule of the Aesir. In creating the first human, Vili gave the gift of wit and sense of touch. Vili is symbolic for cognition as his name means 'will'. He is supposed to represent inner desire. Vili is very loyal to his older brother Odin and during Ragnarok Fenrir the wolf, ate Odin and Vili sacraficed himself to it thinking that there was no hope left for the world. This could be the symbolic 'loss of will'. Vili is known for wearing silver armor while his brothers wear gold and bronze.
