Biography

Runic Ability = seed harvesting
Strength of Ability = Strong

Cutty was traded to a friendly lair soon after hatching with her hatchling lair mates to provided more space for more hatchlings. She was attracted to a large dark dragon named Equinox that was just a little older than her, feeling a kinship of some kind she could always be found near him after escaping the hatchling tenders.

When she started showing signs of runic ability early the many dragons within the lair would cover her learning mistakes from any of the visiting dragons, while not identifying her as the cause due to her young age. So she learned to only use her seeding ability when Equinox was around because of his harvesting ability. Soon the other dragons noticed the increased amount of seeds in the harvest and knowing of Equinox's ability simply assumed it was a side benefit of his harvesting ability.

Equinox was puzzled for a bit knowing that his ability had stabilized, then he started watching the hatchling Cutty and quickly understood that her runic ability had manifested early and that she was not duplicating seeds but simply making all the seeds within a fruit or vegetable just right for harvesting, there were no longer any seeds that were too small or poor quality for the use they were intended for.

Between the two of them the food stores within the horde were swiftly unbalanced to the plant side.

As she matured Cutty realized that her co-conspirator in hiding and training her runic ability was also a potential life time mate. After a conference with Ogma, she realized that due to their strength in their runic abilities and the similarity of ability she and Equinox could with some runic study, make sure that their runic abilities would pass along to their children.

For the next season both Cutty and Equinox secretly learned the specific runes used to open the runic abilities within the eggs with a firm warning to NEVER charge the runes unless they were 100% sure the hatchlings had runes. A hatchling with glimmer could have a passive ability but no way to release it, while anything else could prove fatal to the hatchlings.

Soon Ogma declared them a life-bonded pair and they were eager to find a Lair that would become their home.
