Goldear was a shy little hatchling when he wandered out of the Spiral Keep, he was alone and longing to get back home, and fast. The Sakura Owls were not beasts to play with, it was dusk, the poor Spiral found a small Cabbie to call home for a little while, before a owl gulped him up whole. He was lost in Starwood Strand, at the time, there weren't many clans is the surrounding area so they couldn't hear him.But one female Imperial heard the faintest of screeches, she flew down from Crystalpine Peak and scooped the Cabbie up with Goldear inside of it. The Imperial's family adopted the Spiral.. After he told them his name, they really wondered if dragons have ears.. Well, apparently yes
