Biography

purchased from helsing for 550 gems
they're CUTE
  • Rook is a type of crow, another way to describe a trickster or a swindler, and a type of chess piece. "To rook someone is to trick them, like a sneaky old crow."

  • there's no denying that Rook is a warrior with skill and ability that has yet to be surpassed. because he was deemed king of the jungle while he wandered looking for somewhere where he didn't have to worry about strange stares and try-so-hard-not-to-be-obvious-obvious whispers, most other dragons shy away from him. he scares them and he wouldn't have it any other way, for now, only dragons with genuine, crystal clear intentions dare approach him.

  • his cautious gaze is due to his plethora of trust issues and years of being deceived. he's a beast who rarely lets other dragons near him for fear of being deceived again- hence, the danger he tries to exude to scare others away. he's not the trickster- well, maybe a little-, but unfortunately, the one who's usually being tricked, because despite his cold, strong warrior appearance, he's lonely, patiently awaiting the soft touch of warmth. a beast quietly and patiently waiting for his beauty.

  • he often lazes away on mountains atop of rocky watchtowers he crafted using his horns. he typically has no need to go hunting as his familiar does the work for him but every so often, he feels the need to go for runs and hunt, leading him to leave his watchtowers for days at a time. his need to leave comes about when the faint lingering scent of frost and forest trees finally fades from his senses. he leaves and every time he returns, the scent comes back, accompanied with the ever so slight sign of disturbance- a sign of someone other than him.
