Biography
Anaq
of Cloud Branch
Elder Guide of the Tree
Seer
Reticent, Enigmatic, Kind
Anaqiora is the eldest and wisest of the imperial Guides at the Tree of Dawn, and along with her other guides and Terentia, the matriarchal, motherly figures to the tree's parliament and denizens. She can be equal parts firm and understanding, and her insights and perspectives are highly valued throughout the Tree and the world. She is trying to groom the next generation of leaders at the tree to be able to make wise decisions without her. She has seer-like intuition and a tremendous amount of magical skill and experiences, and is nearly immune to all forms of manipulation.
In a conflict, she takes only an observational, advisory position, holding her offensive and defensive talents and abilities in reserve, and instead focuses on healing dragons both physically and emotionally. She rarely takes a stand on any issue in public, leaving tough decisions to the parliament and the other appointed leaders, to build confidence and investment in their abilities, both in themselves and in the eyes of the rest of the Tree. However, she has her own way of guiding the tree through her connection with the other Guides, and through counselling the leaders should they seek her help.
She is very close to Terentia, the other motherly matriarchal figure among the skydancers of the tree, Isendra, who she cared for in the latter's childhood, and Zarya, in whom she sees tremendous potential.
~ Meta ~
Modelled after Lee Kuan Yew (RL, founding father of Singapore), Boneclaw Mother (Digger webcomic) and the wise grandmother figures of Studio Ghibli (Zeniba in spirited away, the wise woman in Laputa, the wise woman in Mononoke, the grandma in Totoro).

༆
Denotes a semi-permanent member of the lair, who may one day leave but only under the right conditions, such as being borrowed as exalt trainers in another lair, or for someone who wants them truly badly enough.
Unmarked dragons don't have determined roles and inquiries may be made into their joining a different clan.
