Heriku is a calm, stable dragon. Even in the most difficult of situations, she is never shaken, and is a pillar of steadiness in bad times. She is good - natured and fair, and isn't afraid to point dragons out for their wrongdoings (Bokith tends to be her favorite victim). She is not a supporter of violence, but will fight when it's needed.

Although she may seem serious at first, Heriku is actually a very hearty individual, and is a joy to be around at the right time. Dragons love it when she participates in their conversations, although she might get into a heated debate in the wrong circumstance. When she does get into a disagreement with someone, Heriku tries to stay completely calm and fair.

Whenever there is a disagreement in the clan, Heriku is usually the first one to be asked about it. Because of her wise and fair demeanor, she is often sought out for advice for a dragon's troubles. She is taken to be the prominent voice of judgement when a dragon is confronted or accused of something, and is often a deciding factor in the argument.

Heriku was originally born into a nice Wind clan, where she was welcomed and accepted. She lived out her life happily, making the most of her family and what she had. Everything was perfect. But as she grew older, her ordinary life was not enough for her. She found herself wishing to venture out of the comfort of her village and take her chances in the great unknown. She decided to spend her life with her clan, but she always felt the pull of adventure.

When she finally reached the age to retire from her position in the clan, Heriku started to really wonder about life outside the realm of the known. Her time on Sornieth was dwindling, and if she decided to stay put she would live a perfect, but boring life. Or, she could risk it all on an epic journey.

One day, she just packed up her bags and left. The last thing she did at her old home was wish her loved ones goodbye, and then she was off. The journey was truly thrilling. She lived as a wanderer, always moving from place to place. Every place that she went to was wonderful, and all the dragons that she met she found fascinating. She never once regretted her decision to leave, although every now and then she wished she could see her clan members again. But it was all part of the beauty of life! Once something great ended, something infinitely more glorious would always take its place. And it was in this way that Heriku became wiser and wiser.

Heriku loved her adventurous life for every second she spent in it, but as time went on she found herself almost jealous of the dragons she met. They didn't have her adventure, but they had friends and family. And so, Heriku decided to set out and find a place to settle down, even it was only for a little while. She roamed and she searched. She scoured the land, with excitement always on the horizon. And then the day arrived. She came upon a large cave, carved from gigantic boulders. Within, she found exactly the clan that she had been searching for.
