Introducing Spiral, an imperial born of thunder and storm clouds which has pledged her royalty since the dawn of the first factories and manufacturing spaces. A deserter and known scavenger of the sandy Lightning Flight domain who does not fear Stormbringer's call...

Well, when you've been hearing it since the beginning of your very existence as a tiny lightning spark, it just loses the intimidation factor behind it. Or maybe she's deaf, but that's a story for a whole 'nother day.

Spiral, even if she would claim otherwise, was born near the fabled Magmatic Volcano. The smoke clouds that had come off of the rapidly heating and erupting mass had collided together, forming lightning bolts as far as the eye could see. A true show of power of the Stormbringer, forming thunderous fury across the entire land from a single source. It was a lightshow, and with its greatness came life. Life that was a little singed around the edges, but still life! A tiny and yet regal imperial named Spiral. A feisty one, too.

The Stormbringer, a massive and endlessly devoted deity, had stumbled upon the tiny thing after checking out the quality of his own work. Wings spread with a checklist in his tiny weird hands and a pen to boot, he had been patrolling around the scene when he had felt something nip his foot.

Something unworthy of his presence! How dare it try to attack him! Stormbringer prepared to blast it to a million pieces, frills standing on end due to the rapid electricity that was forming inside them, ready to erupt like the very volcano the Stormbringer stood in front of... Only to realize it was just some dumb hatchling that had definitely bit off more than it could chew.

An imperial that was born of lightning itself.

Now, that was quite the feat, even for the Stormbringer. And, as he often says, in his 'The Art of Work' (which he totally wrote with his little hands); 'EVERY LIVING BEING DESERVES TWO THINGS: MOTIVATION... AND WORK!'.
And so, little Spiral was nursed to adulthood, at which point she worked up the ranks of the Stormbringer's factories as a CEO. Though, how'd she end up in the Arcane lands?

Well, to put it simply, after breaking both of her wings in a work accident that consisted for corkscrews and a fae, Spiral was forced to retire and live out the rest of her semi-immortal life somewhere where she could fly even with her broken wings. Enter the low-gravity Arcane dimension, where she was adopted as an adoptive grandmother to the hatchlings of a Mirror and a Fae.

Strange pair, honestly.

She's been living in harmony with them ever since. Would she change her fate to still be working for the Stormbringer? On some days, she would. Though, on most days, when she looks upon the world she hadn't experienced ever since a young hatchling...

A tear rolls down her eye.

It was worth every ligament.
