Second in command to the Den-Tree's feral dragon pack, he is also the Alpha's chosen breeding partner. Cunning and rutheless, this Wldclaw leads the Hunt, coordinating attacks by the pack.

He was raised in a Feral pack much like Faelan, and as he grew into adulthood he left his parents to claim his own territory. He survived on his own, wandering, for several decades, honing his hunting skills before crossing Faelan's Territory.

He had always imagined himself the leader of his own pack one day, but he was completely impressed by Faelan's strength when she overwhelmed the aggressive invader. There were very few dragons he had ever had to submit to in a fight. He hovered at the edges of the Den Tree territory for some time while he healed, watching how the clan and their feral resident behaved. He slowly revealed himself to Fae, who seemed to pay him no mind anymore, she allowed him to hunt beside her and hover near the training grounds as she oversaw training sessions. Over time he was just unceremoniously accepted into the clan, but not into Fae's favor.

He still had the itch to lead, but not the strength to take over. He discovered an opportunity in the female's Ritual Matings. Rarely any new comers stepped up since the twin mirrors has establishes their dominance over the event, but Kassan was not impressed with them, they were both predictable, and he beat them easily, embarrassingly easily. It was then he finally captured her attention.

She had been slowly gathering young feral dragons into a family pack group, and she was now eyeing him as her mate. He kept up the pressure, going out of his way to display his strength and intellect to her, convincing her to choose him as her consort. It worked, he now comfortably co-leads what the rest of the clan has come to call the Soulchaser Warband.
