"There's a technicality to designing and wearing hats. A hat is balancing the proportions of your face; it's like architecture or mathematics."

Ichabod loves creating hats more than anything else in the world of Sornieth. Dragons from all over come to him, looking for that one hat which will make them feel special, and once they acquire it, their luck seems to change. If they are kind-hearted and just, their luck improves. If they are mean and seek to hurt others, their luck gets worse. No one ever considers that it is the hat causing their turn of fortune, because the hats Ichabod creates are gorgeous and he has a steady clientele. It should be mentioned that Barrow doesn't pick the hat for the wearer, but rather the hat chooses, drawing the customer in and enthralling them. If they do not purchase the hat it will follow them in their dreams, until they must absolutely have it at all costs.
