Many of the clan members fear Gordon for what he does - killing. He was trained from a young age to be the perfect assassin but now only does it as a job. More often than not he is out in the woods, hunting to get food for the clan. He's still a very cold person and doesn't open up at all, preferring to watch and stay silent. He often comes home to his wife with blood on him and she never asks if its from an animal or a person anymore, because she's learned to just accept both aspects of his job.

His wife, Sangui, is one of the few people to ever see him smile. He taught himself the entire sign language she had to learn within two years so they could communicate better. Overall, Gordon's entire demeanor changes with her, becoming sweet, caring, and kind. Watching them interact is interesting, because they are both silent as she either signs or writes and he signs back. However, she is only partially deaf due to having one ear cut off and the other horribly marred. She can sometimes hear him, but only rarely, so she has adapted to sign language with him.

They actually learned sign language together, after he helped her get through her battle. They met the day her ears were ruined, as she was defenseless in a fight. Gordon barely got there in time before her left ear was also torn off and practically threw the attacker off of her. Though Gordon has accepted killing as his ways, he still believes that the innocent don't deserve death for no reason.

He carried her to Reuben's place, as she was in shock and couldn't move. Her hands cupped both of her ears and the blood spilled over onto Gordon's shirt, but he didn't mind. He helped her adjust to a life with little noise and was the one who re-wrapped her ear bandages every day. They grew closer over the few months he was helping her and eventually fell in love. It wasn't too hard for her to adapt as she had already been fairly quiet anyway.

She didn't mean for it to happen, but she fell for the blood tinged man and they became inseparable. Gordon works also as her interpreter when she needs it, but the offer isn't extended to anyone else. He's just for her personal use.

As a jeweler, Sangui fashions beautiful jewelry in her home workshop. Gordon often brings her stones and gems he finds while out hunting and she sells the things she makes through the clan and the traders. She very rarely wears the jewelry herself due to her already being covered in gems, but will wear her wedding ring and a bracelet. In a way, losing her ears was a good thing because now she doesn't have to worry about if she forgot to put protection on before starting up the machines.

Either way, the duo live happily inside a small house that they purchased after getting married. When they're not working, they spend time together reading, cuddling, and watching shows (with subtitles). When they sleep, Sangui is in the protection of his arms because now one of the only fears he has is that someone will break in and she won't hear it and get killed. Highly unlikely with everyone being terrified of him, but he still fears that scenario. But, for once, they're both happy. Both living in joy. (8 Nov 2016)
