With a wicked and toothy smile, each potential customer is offered a short, vague, yet enthralling description of his alchemical brews.

The most naive of Darter's "customers" would hastily turn their wallets inside out, seeking to procure cheap potions described to have such grandiose applications. If things transpire in the alchemist's favor, the transaction is quick, easy, and the Imperial strolls away on his stubby legs with a lighter inventory and a heavier coin purse.

The poor souls who impulse purchase his vials? They find out rather quickly that Darter's "carefully concocted elixirs' are but various fragrant melon juices infused with glitter.

Before the sneaky serpent can possibly be accosted for his fallacies, he's already on the run again, grinning madly as he peddles on in search of his next victim to swindle.
