Dismayed by her years of fortune telling failures, she found herself at the foot of Chimera's clan after hearing rumors she hoarded power tomes that could potentially heighten her own magic.

Chimera was wary at first, not seeking to recruit a seer who couldn't actually predict anything. In a fit of rage at rejection, Vermina channeled a power once unknown, accurately detailing a past incident involving Chimera's disabled daughter. Impressed and slightly heated at the memory, Chimera took the young bogsneak in, allowing her to browse her arcane library under close watch.

Since her joining, Vermina grew to be quite an adept mage though her predictions are still woefully inaccurate. Using items of importance to other dragons and herself, she occasionally channels her potential into something potent. Her predictions have become more novel than useful but is enough to raise the moral of those who rely on fate.
