12. Brightshine, year 4. The Observatory Something strange is going on in the Starwood Sanctuary. For some weeks, there have been ... news. Disturbing news. News about dragons, that suddendly changed their behaviour. Or their eyecolour. Children, that just vanish, not to be seen anymore. Small details, odd behaviours. It was not much, but enough for the Observatory to send an investigator to the venerable clan, that just moved to Focal Point a few weeks ago. Me! 19. Brightshine, year 4. Focal Point I found the clan exactly were out maps said they would be. I was welcomed by the clan leader Jasvinder - the most accurate and tense Mirror I have ever seen! But she didn't want to know anything about those "rumors", as she calls it. We'll see about that! 04. Thundercrack, year 4. Focal Point I talked to a few dragons of the clan. Contrary to their leader, they seem to be ... worried. I talked to a Mirror, Arlyn, who said his mate has ... changed. She wants to be called another name now, and her eyes have seemingly changed colour. This is concerning. 17. Thundercrack, year 4. Focal Point ARGH, this is frustrating! Nobody wants to speak with me about the issues at hand, seemingly because Jasvinder told them not to. I'll stay on the case! 02. Flameforger, year 4. Focal Point Cadriel came to me in the night. She said, if I want answers, I'll have to follow her and keep quiet. I am eager to learn what she has to say... |

Case Studies Leilani // Kailani  ---> Once the quirky, sometimes even childish ambassador to the Water Flight. She is the by far strongest lead in the investigation, being the dragon who has changed the most - in terms of eyecolour, character and personal connections to other clanmembers. Ahura // Oberon  ---> ---> He doesn't talk at all and his mother, the warroir snake Odessa, even hurled at me at the simple question what is going on with this creepy spiral. I have no clue. Some dragons even claim that the colour of his scales underneath the markings has changed some weeks ago. Iantha // Iantha?  ---> I could have sworn there were two of her for a time. Is that even possible...? And why does she wear this blindfold? Me??  ---> What... has happened? I don't remember? Have my scales always been this colour? Why... why am I feeling so weird? This... strange feeling... Angelica // Angelique  ---> This time it's weirdly obvious, yet noone else but me seems to have noticed how Angelica has changed. She insists on a new, weird way of speaking her name, and her eyes...if you look really closely, they are wnother colour. You can't fool me anymore! Kerrigan // Kiara  ---> Again, an obvious namechange went together with the very obvious change of colour. No changes in character this time, though, and even her cat doesn't seem to notice a difference. Flare // Flare  ---> Flare wasn't in this clan fpr very long, yet I noticed a change in her overall colour as well as in her eyes. Only her shiny markings and her love for Gold stayed the same. Amiri // Amira  ---> For the first time in my visit to this clan, I actually noticed the changes just before they happened! Amiri has been our chief researcher at the Starwood Strand, and she has been a long time if all the other dragons are to believe. But a few months ago, she changed. She was never interested in raising hatchlings, but suddendly she started to mate with a Coatl who looked just like her. I though, she still grieved her beloved Vikenti, but she and Jin got hatchlings faster than I could have ever imagined possible. There were four clutches, and during that time Amiri grew more irritable by the day. But after a while, an exact copy of hers hatched, called Amira by her mother, and soon after Amiri herself vanished... Choclay  ---> The difference between the two versions of Choclay is quite starring, an so I have to conclude that the dark powers that infested the clan are growing ever stronger. Never before they dared to make a change this obvious. They are growing strong. |
