B I O G R A P H Y

Catadh like most of the Tundra breed was originally hatched in the Snowsquall Tundra to a nest of four other hatchlings. Unfortunately unlike her siblings and parents Catadh had no desire to remain in the frozen waste that was the Southern Icefeild and as soon as she had the ability to fly far enough to travel, she left her home and kin and began flying towards the East in search of warmer weather. Unaware of what was to come and completely against the usual loathing of leaving her birth place that most Tundra's displayed.

Catadh took actually much longer to pass into a different land that was not the Southern Icefeild, all because of the simple fact that the Southern Icefield was an Island and that Catadh had never ventured outside of the Ice Flight territory before but, when she did eventually manage to venture away from the frozen island and over the small expanse of water that was in between her place of birth and the land beyond she was met by a shocking realisation. It was hot! The land was so hot! Almost unbearably so and her winter coat quickly shed off once she began to travel through this scorched, new land which she would later discover to be called The Ashfall Waste, the Fire Region. While she did not mind the loss of her once heavy, winter coat that had hindered her ability to flight the issue was that her new, lighter coat was still too warm for this environment and Catadh quickly succumbed to heat stroke and dehydration. Especially during the day when the land was at its hottest, causing her to shelter in caves and rock outcroppings during the day and travel (either on foot or by flight) at night. Thankfully, despite the harsh, unfamiliar conditions being a Tundra also swayed the odds into her favour as just like the majority of her breed she was a survivor and so adapted quickly to her conditions quickly learning where to gather food. Alas nothing could stop her constantly succumbing to heat stroke and dehydration, no matter how much she got accustomed to the heat so as she made her slow progress across this blistering landscape she eventually stopped once she arrived in a nice cave in a peaceful area she would later discover to be called The Emberglow Hearth. She settled down and slowly managed to recover from her travels, getting her Lair nicely set up on her own and she remained only for a good few months till the oddest thing occurred.

On a day like no other she received a couple of visitors and what an odd group they were a young male, Mirror named Akatosh, a middle aged, male Coatl going by the name of Heartwell and a female, Spiral hatching who the two males had called Columbina. For Catadh this was even odder as besides Tundra's and the occasional Skydancer or Pearlcatcher she'd never seen any other breed of Dragon besides Tundra's. Bewildered and not exactly sure what to do she welcomed these three unlikely travellers into her Lair to rest and eat. Quickly discovering that Akatosh had left the Plague region and had left his Clan similar to her as soon as possible, wanting to travel. Heartwell had come from the Nature Region and had gone off to collect different materials in the Shadow region but got lost and ended up finding Columbina soon after as he wondered into the Light region which was where the young female came from and eventually made his way into the Fire region where he met Akatosh. As the three stayed Catadh quickly realised how nice it was to have company once again and once all three were ready to leave she offered them a permanent place in her Clan. Both males agreed to stay, having become close with the Tundra and believing that it was what was best for Columbina.

After that things seemed to speed up, more dragons came and went though more often than not the dragons would end up staying and as the Clan grew Catadh seemed to become their Alpha or leader. Akatosh becoming the Alpha Male or King as he had become her mate, Columbina later turned out to be a very good fighter and took on the role of Beta while Heartwell became the lead messenger of the Clan, despite him being one of the Elders as well. The Clan rarely faced any threats from other Clan's as they tended to keep themselves or were peaceful, though Catadh had to remind her two eldest hatchlings Kagami and Tushar not to go wandering off into other Clans or Flights. The one problem both Catadh and Akatosh seemed to face however was the fact that their offspring had inherited their sense of adventure so either went to serve The Flamecaller or going off to discover new lands.

P E R S O N A L I T Y

Calm. It is always a rare sight to see this female on the verge of panicking, rarely will she lose face in front of a challenge and has been known to face whatever danger comes her ways head on. Of course she does get scared and nervous, she just never let's anyone see her like that. Not even Akatosh. She will always keep a cool, calm face in trouble and will think of a way to get everyone safely out. Maybe that's why so many dragons who join the Clan temporarily to rest from their travels end up staying. But for whatever reason it is that Catadh can stay calm so easily, one things for certain, she will always remain level headed.

Firm but Fair. Catadh is a natural born leader, whether it be her calm nature or way of looking a situation that shows that. One of her less prominent traits is how she will treat a situation
