Biography
From birth, Isa was a bit of an indecisive and emotional dragon. But she didn't really show any special talent until a hatchling fight started in the nursery, and Isa was drawn into it. When she was clawed, the runes etched across her body flared bright. The hatchling who had clawed her stumbled back, coughing, and then collapsed. Her other denmates fell silent, staring at the sick dragon.
It took the entire clan an hour or two to figure out what had happened. Isa had accidentally created and released a deadly strain of plague. Though the clan found and administered an antidote in time, the experience changed Isa as she realized she could seriously harm those she loved with nothing more than an emotional outburst.
Isa became much more subdued and tentative after that, making a conscious effort not to feel emotions and isolating herself from other dragons as much as possible. One day, she disappeared, and none of the clan knew where she had gotten to. Searches turned up nothing. Isa was pronounced dead.
But she still lives, though her old clan still doesn't know it. She now wanders around, searching for a clan to take her in, where she can hone and control her deathly powers.
