Biography
Mamblory declined to pursue a tertiary gene. Now a young adult capable of fully understanding and appreciating the implications of her birth, she just sort of shrugs at it all. Dragons who await some word of wisdom and kernel of truth from her will be disappointed. She doesn’t ponder her existence, she only knows that she is.
“I’m fine without a 3rd gene,” she says in a carefree voice. “I like myself as is. If you need to make some grand statement about Bogsneaks from my actions, just say something deep sounding. Something like ‘By refusing a third gene, I define myself. I draw my boundary against all expectations, both ill intended and benign.”
She doesn’t seem aware that’s actually a really apt description of her whole outlook on life. She has no intention of doing any anguished soul searching or questioning the how or why of Bogsneaks relative to other dragons. She respects her identity as a new thing, but she just wants to explore all of life’s opportunities now that she’s out from under Rainforest.
Despite the differences in their approaches to life, Mamblory and Miscendence are very close and will directly contradict their typical behaviors to help the other experience life in their respective fashions. For Miscedence, this means occasionally shutting off his mind and going off to party and really indulge in life with Mamblory. For Mamblory, it means coming to the Engineering Enclave and getting into debates with Miscedence about how different or similar a Bognseak might be to familiars who also come from the pot, or whether or not it’s really a transgression against the gods to create new things.
