A skydancer of large wings and a delicate, yet confident, stride slips through the tangles of the Starwood Strand. Her name is Cyn and she wears a long dark cape. Her eyes (for this was before she donned her blindfold) are a vibrant magenta, cluing all who look at her to her magical prowess. She carries under her clothing a bag of goods, rare herbs and gold for trade. She talks with a sense of removed urgency to her hippogrif familiar who seems to understand intuitively what she means. Finally, she reaches a single obelisk in the middle of the forest. A drake already waits for her.
"'Bout time you showed up!" Cyn laughs as she greets her patient friend. But her friend shakes her head and then bows it, ears hanging limply down in a gesture of sadness.

Cyn's eyes widen.

With shaking hands, the drake takes out a single broken spear and places it in front of her. The canopy glitters overhead like a kaleidoscope but that is not enough to distract her from the horror of the news she is about to hear.

"Oh, the funniest thing happened at that Wind Region bar..."

Cyn is an indispensable medic (casting and herbal), both a highly respected figure as well as trusted friend in the eyes of the clan's leader, Chimes. She possesses a keen intuition and understanding nature underneath her often cackling demeanor. While frequently playful and no stranger to any pub this side of the world, she is ultimately very studious and successfully balances those sides of her life. Meanwhile, her romantic partner, Etienne doesn't share her social ease and extroversion and the two compliment each other well despite their obvious physical differences.


Cyn is a bohemian at heart but a committed companion to the many she does love. She's not one to be monogamous but forever holds Etienne close to heart. She also is mother to Nyx and is sure to visit her whenever circumstances lead her to the Wind region.

Cyn has eventually come to move away from adhering to a flight and to worshiping a specific god. Symbolically this is shown by the blind fold she frequently wears in public to hide her Arcane flight eyes. Not only that, but she greatly sympathizes with the Beast Clans and played a large role in turning Aefendel into a place even non-dragons can live in.

These days, she spends much of her time wandering, collecting data, reaching out to various Beast Clans and developing translations of their many languages into Common Draconian. She does much of this work with her Starwood Talonok friend, Kria, When not abroad she lives in a humble dwelling within the Gimshaw Territory of Aefendel, specifically in the Starwood Talonok village area.
