Saraid
Rank: Second army general.
Status: Divorced
Canon Hacthlings: Lyseria (deceased/exalted)

The sympathetic and nice girl on the neighborhood, Saraid is the strongest warrior of the clan, a matching force with Alderamin.
She is the second in command of the forces after Alderamin, so all of the other capitans and even the golden guild responds to her. She's also adviser of the queen. She's a bulky guardian, skilled at sword fighting and other weapons and hunting.

She's doens't have much lady manners and has a deep voice. She enjoys food and eats more than what looks normal for an average dragon.

She was married three times but only having her first daughter with her last husband, Duhar. He and she had a daughter Lyseria. Lyseria herself was a ranger who was working hard to be part of a powerful rangers clan and almost made it, if not for a bad turn of the fate. She died helping a group of hatchlings that trying to reach a safe zone in a mountain that had a landfall. She became a hero in the clan.

After some time Saraid and her husband broke the relationship and now she's on Besart serving queen Nozette.

She loves kids and sometimes is caretaker of hatchlings. She can't say no to that puppy eyes of them, or any of the kids. She saw all of the kids of the clan growing up and turning adults and even being grownups she still call them "kiddo" its an automatic habbit she can't let go.

"Hey kiddo, how have you been?"

First ever RP was with her, and I'm a failure! 8D
Saraid looks at that beautiful library and can't think of one single person if not her friend Petrichor, the most bookworm dragon on her clan.
She tries to follow the pearlcather without disturbing other around with the clanging of her armor or her heavy bulk.

She hear him coughing and listen to what he has to say. In the end she smiles and says:

"If the kiddos are excited for this croswords I'll do my best to let the small ones happy!"

She picks a tint pen nearby and starts to write the answer, by number 2 "sunbeam ruins". When she's done, she turn around and see he's not there anymore.

Saraid was ready to start writting the next answer. Well, more like thinking of it while trying to solve than actually writting stuff down. She then recognized the familiar voice, turning around and noticing the golden guardian was actually Jacque. She greeted her.

"Well if it ain't you, kiddo! people in Ajaccio are treating you so good, you look amazing!"

She extended her hand and greeted Jacque with a smile. She turned back to the paper, writting down what Jacque had just said, while hearing what the hooded wildclaw and the pearlcatcher near them said. Before getting to their answers, she looks at both of them and introduces herself.

"Oh hello, I'm Saraid. Nice to meet you, Chiller." - She said, and while Krova didn't introduce himself yet, she extended a smile to both of them.

Then, she returned to the puzzle. "Goodness, you guys are really good on the puzzle. Imperial, Sunbeam Ruins, Pearlcatcher, Illuminarti, Hewncity, Lightweaver and Acolight seems to be the exact answers for that."

Saraid finished greeting the pearlcatcher and the wildclaw and placed the paper on the table again.

"A famous surgeon and a healer, always great to meet people with such noble profession. The BrightShine Jubilee seems to be so calm so far, I can't think on any disturbance happening." - She smiled calmly at both of them.

She raised her hand to her chin and scratched it.

"Well, I think both answers look good. Acolite, Acolyte, Acolight. But looking at the space, if we write acolite or acolyte, it would miss one space and acolight would fill all the squares on the crosswords. or maybe working with plural for the others? Ahahaha My nerdy friend Petrichor would do better in my place."

She gets back to Chiller's question and says:

"I was born on the wind territory, a long time ago and I'm currently living on the light territory recently. My queen and all the clan and sub clans moved together a short ago."

She waits for the others to talk more about themselves

Saraid crossed her arms while listening to Krova and Chiller, and said:

"Just a slogan, hn? Well seems a good one. Now for the plague territories, I'm sure what you described has it's beauty. On my younger years I would have liked to spent some days there but nowadays I have too many responsibilites that keep me busy." - She sighed, but smiled after a few seconds. "Your plague beast is at least well... peculiar." - She laughed a bit, not wanting to dwell on how it's creation took place. Some things were better left as a mystery anyways. "But I love the plenty of food part!" - She said, humorous.

She continued and said to Chiller:

"Our Petrichor is a bookworm, always with a book and eager to learns things, she's good at teaching but not much good at taking care of children hhahaa. And Your clan was founded by arcane dragons then? They indeed are great friends. On my clan the capitan of a guild is an arcane dragon, and as a coincidence he's also an imperial!"

The talking was interrupted by the pearlcatcher that returned, took and results and went away. And next a tundra appeared with a food request, which Saraid was more than happy to help, after all she loves food and always eats impressive amounts so she could understand their plea for more food.

She opted to went out alone to hunt something for the tundra, and after some minutes - she was a warrior afterall - returned with a stack of meat for the tundra.

"Here, you can have these, feed your self well or whoever you are going to give this to."

And delivered the goods.

Saraid sat down after delivering the goods to the tundra and waited for the others. She saw Chiller asking for the Spirit of Light to bring food to her and found the little creature a cute one. Much like Chiller, she used the free time to look up some books in the library who could be of interest for her queen. They had just moved to Light so there was still much to study.

When Jacque arrived she noticed she no longer had her armor and was with some injuries from the battle. As much as she was worried, Saraid trusted the new guardian and prefered to say encouraging words. She turned to the newly changed guardian and said:

"You're doing well kiddo, you got a lot more food than what I had on my provisory vault." - and smiled proud at Jacque, patting her head, as she was worried patting her in the back could hurt. "Scars will come and go but experience will always stay. You are going to be a fine guardian."

Saraid looked as the group focused on healing Jacque and said in a gentle voice.

"For our own safety, I recommend we go together next time if something like this is needed again... I don't want anyone else hurt." - Saraid said in a smaller voice, being too motherly to stand seing someone else hurt.

Saraid had seen when Chiller started working her magic and was curious to see what both a great surgeon and a healer would do together. She waited to see, sitting closely.

Saraid silently watched as Chiller and Dr. Krova worked together to heal Jacque´s injuries, such a good duo they were when it comes to healing and surgery. She was also intrigued by the glove-blade that the surgeon was wearing, as an experienced warrior she couldn´t contain her curiosity about such item, but waited until they were done stitching Jacque´s injuries to start a conversation.

"Dr.Krova thanks for offering me food, one sentinel fish will be more than enough for me"

It looked really good, Saraid took a bite of it then continued:

"Your gloves, they look really useful and rather interesting, did you craft them yourself? Or even designed them? I wonder if they would be useful as weapons if ever needed..."

She then turned to Chiller:

"And you were humming a good song back there, could that be a song from the Plague Territory? What is it called?"
And pointing at the harp she continues to say: "So you play it uhn? I would love to hear a song from you when we get out of the library"

The Fae showed up with a request afer the Tundra left. Saraid picked up her box and opened it to reveal it´s content:

Sacridite

She looks at the ink and paper, scratching the back of her head, she takes a deep breath and says: "Well seems like I got into a hard battle this time, hahaha I´m not a big of a writer but I will try...hmmm this sacridite reminds me f my friend Nabokov and the Golden Guild"

After another deep breath Saraid starts to write down, well she will try her best!

The last setences were loosing the alignment of the text as she finished with her bad handwritting.

"well...its done" And rubbed her temple with the right hand.

She sat and waited curiously thinking that the others would probably write a long and beautiful story.

Saraid listened to Dr. Krova after finishing her short story, still rubbing one of her temples with her index finger. She glanced over trying to see what Jacque was drawing, she found it funny but the little sushi made Saraid feel a bit hungry. She didn't want to pick other fish from Dr. Krova's offer so she resisted.

It was amazing to her that more than one person contributed with the gloves project in order to achieve their final design, as warrior she was used to deal with weaponry everyday, so she is always curious about such matter, different weapons are just too interesting!

"Such a great project, you, your father and this other person you mentioned did a formidable job. Not only the gloves look good but they´re also discret for your profession in case you need them, but I hope you dont need to use them anytime soon" :)

She didn't got a reply from Chiller but she noticed that the pearlcacther was so immerged on her task that she decided to just to look from far and admire her excitement with it

Everybody seemed focused on their writing and drawing tasks so Saraid just laid her backs against a wall waiting for everybody to finish and watched quietly when the Fae returned. Got their finished work and left. The best part for Saraid was when the tundra girl returned with lots of food, she couldn't contain herself and ate 10 portions of anything that was offered!
The meal was delicious, very satisfied from it Saraid thanked the tundra warmly. She wiped her mouth with the back of her arm and burped loudly. With a bit of embarassment, she smiled and said:

"sorry" :D

She then smiled again, a tiny piece of lettuce stuck between her teeth.

Once again the fae was back and this time he had another puzzle! Saraid sighed and rubbed her temple in response to this herculean task, not another puzzle...And after frying her brains a little she found out only this:

"the sun sZts tonight
aIG anothZO XZaO Jegins
haSSX YuJDAee"

"well, this thing here looks more like somebody was chocking from laughing, bunch of haSSX YuJDAee... this is hard"

And laughed. "sorry guys, I did my best here, not my expertise"
