RUNEMASTER
Mystical, secretive, confident
Tyr is trained in the art of runes. He draws or etches these magical symbols onto objects to enchant them with certain properties. In rare cases, he will even apply them permanently to other dragons at their request.
Tyr's own rune patterns were given to him by his original master. His familiar is also a parting gift from the same individual. Its pages are a catalog of runes and their meanings, and the book will only willingly open its pages for him.
His own lair is surrounded by ominous-looking runestones that glow at night. No one else in the clan is versed in runes, so their purpose is a mystery. When asked about them, he says they're for his own protection and leaves it at that. They appear to be harmless, but the other Pearlcatchers love to speculate about what they do.
