Biography
Hovering along the bottom edges of Carrion Cannon are packs of small electrically charged dragons. They are a mysterious species. Mentioned only by the few travelers that have made it passed the treacherous valley alive.
Known as Sparkflys, they patrol the bottom of the cliff leading up to the lightning farm in the shifting expanse.
Flickering back and forth across the sand they suck up any electric charge they can. It is thought they do this by using their large white wings to pull the static from the dry arid sand.
Observed feeding their young energy by wrapping their wings around the hatchlings to form a ball like enclosure. They then begin to emit the charge they have collect from the sand. It seems that Sparkflys must consume electricity to survive.
They are the ghosts of this deadly valley, since to see one is a rare sight, as they only come out at night. They are most magnificent creatures with charged blue glowing eyes, blue stripes trailing down to the tips of their tails. White blazes flowing down the sides their bodies.
They run in packs of Coatls, Wildclaws and Skydancers. Possibly more species since so few have been encountered.
Stormcatcher is rumored to use the packs of Sparkflys as his first observers in this valley, keeping watch on whom enters his land.
If you are to ever encounter a rare Sparkfly do take care to stay back, as there will always be more in the shadows....
