B I O G R A P H Y
The legendary black wizard, Zeref, known as the strongest and most evil of all the mages. However, there is so much more to him then the rumors let on, especially concerning his past. After the death of his family and younger brother at a young age he spent most of his life researching life and death in an attempt to resurrect his brother. However not heeding warnings that this research was dangerous he was cursed by Ankhseram with a curse of contradictions making him immortal. Due to the curse the more he values life, the more it will be taken away, resulting in the death of many around him.

Therefore it is known as a curse of contradictions, going as far as to even contradict one's own thoughts. Because of this he avoids people in order to avoid killing them. He also has created multiple demons that he wishes to destroy him, including his ultimate creation E.N.D, also managing to bring back his brother, however none have yet to succeed. After around 300 years he met Mavis and eventually fell in love with her, believing he could be with her since they shared the same curse.

However, once again his curse brings about great contradiction and his love for her 'kills' her. After this he decides he no longer wants anything to do with people, and lives in solitude aside from when he works on building his own empire, able to avoid killing the people there as he views them like pawns in a game of war, with his new goal to destroy the world and start anew, having given up on humanity.
