Biography
Uh-oh, looks like this one wandered a little too far from his original lair. (260889, sleepingcactus) And now he's off to see the world!
Unfortunately for Glenys, he looks almost exactly like his father. And as such everyone expects him to become just as smart and wise. However, he is quite different from his father in that he is always accidentally getting into something, and he is somewhat clumsy and shy.
(From previous owner Wychwing:)
Glenys landed in an Arcane clan, exhausted and hungry, not even realizing he was curling up in someone's nest. The next morning he awoke to ten Fae dragons surrounding him. They were all staring both at him and each other. "He's not mine," one said. Another replied, "Well he can't be mine - my eggs don't hatch until tomorrow." Glenys scurried to his feet. "Um, sorry. I didn't mean to fall asleep in your nest. I flew here and I was just tired..." To his relief, they were forgiving dragons. They generously fed him and introduced him to the whole clan. Glenys stayed until he was well enough to fly off again to continue his journey. From this little adventure he learned to be more vigilant of his surroundings.
(themusicat's lair:)
Glenys had grown weary of flying and felt like the ground that he was nearing was safe to travel on. He made a rather bumpy landing but brushed himself off and walked with a bit of pep in his step along a narrow path through a meadow. It wasn't long before he made his next clumsy move, and tripped over a bumpy rock, rolling down a small hill in the meadowside and stopping just within eyesight of Evren's water clan. Evren, with his keen ears, heard Glenys tumbling down the hill just off in the distance and looked up just in time to see the little guy land right on his face. Poor thing! Evren, Blood, and a couple of the younger dragons rushed over to greet and examine the new arrival. Once Glenys came to a bit and was no longer dizzy, he saw himself once again surrounded by dragons. But a few of them were of types he didn't think he had seen before. A bit speechless, and noticeably so, Glenys sat in a sort of awe, but was quickly welcomed by Evren and the rest of the clan. Evren told Glenys that he could stay as long as he liked, and Glenys enjoyed the idea of keeping a home with some nice dragons. He has been with Evren's clan ever since, working on his clumsiness and helping to gather food. He has discovered that he really enjoys swimming and drawing in dirt/sand/etc.
