She was a young bog named Starla, always having interest in magic, even being able to cast it at a young age. The clan she had been apart of hoped the best for the young prodigy, but little did they know, that as she would grow, so would her love for the darker side of it.

The innocent youth would grow into her teen years and sneak into the library’s restricted area. She learned of dark magic, necromancy, disease filled energy, and possession. She studied everyday, learned the patrol patterns to know when to leave and tested her knowledge on naïve dragons or familiars who dare venture close to her den.

The then named Starla, would study those who had mastered the ways of forbidden magic and so changes her name, the teen would go to a more reclusive stance and it would cause arguments, suspicion and loss of trust. She would leave the clan in the night

For she was no longer Starla, she was the witch of the dark arts, Margery and the forest was hers.

Those that dare wander into it, may never come out or they may never be who they once were, for Margery has them under her spell and she wouldn’t let go until they aren’t of use, but only the undead Valkyrie imperial would live.
