Biography
Althalos is an older member of the lair, and is the oldest of his teammates. He's also the most grounded member of his team, and one of the most level-headed dragons in the lair; very little fazes him. Unlike most Tundras, he is not very good at magic. What he lacks in magical ability, though, he more than makes up for in fighting ability. Al loves rated matches; he's not terribly competitive, but nothing makes him happier than getting the chance to test his fighting skill against other clans. He doesn't particularly enjoy fighting against the Beast Clans, but he'll do so in self defense, or to defend the lair. He is close friends with Savis, and often lets Savis drape himself around his neck for a nap when he has worn himself out on the field. He's an ardent worshiper of Windsinger, and feels very much at home in his Wind clan.
Al is very fond of his familiar. Blooming Stranglers blooms generally indicate that they are at the end of their lifespan, but Al uses what little Nature magic he has to keep his alive. There are those in the clan who worry about whether this is safe, but so far it doesn't seem to be affecting either of them badly.
Althalos is a member of the Gale Riders, along with Tremali and Savis. Like the Rangers, they're primarily a scouting team, but they focus on the Southern Icefield instead of the Plateau. Unlike most of Sornieth, the Southern Icefield is cut off from the main continent, and has numerous islands where smaller Ice clans live. Most of clan Helarnia's scouts aren't up for cold trip or the harsh environment, but the Gale Riders all enjoy the cold, and are well-suited to the icy terrain.
