A determined, strong courier, Warden uses his large wings to deliver many packages and gifts. After leaving his original clan with a clanmate Bumble, Warden stumbled upon Saravasti out with her misfit "children". Saras, always the one who gladly boasts about her clan, told Warden that a courier such as himself would be an excellent cog in the machine.

Warden was puzzled, then realized the odd terminology was a standard term used by those in Lightning Flight. He had heard rumors about their insane work ethic. This intrigued him, for he has braved many storms and other unusual weather phenomena just to get a package to its destination.

Thinking about his decision briefly, he smiled at Saras and said that he would enjoy being a "cog".
