River loves to collect rocks, twigs, and fossils.

River loved going with the gatherers each day in adolescence, being taught which plants were edible, which fish the best, which berries to avoid. And while she remember her lessons perfectly, she had trouble staying focused on the task at hand. The older gatherers would look for River, only to find her playing at the water's edge, rolling in the mud and muck. One day, she came home with…something…following, and the rest of the clan decided to let her keep "it".


River is now one of the most experienced of the gatherers, and focuses primarily on fishing, though she will also gather plants near the water's edge. Her "pet" muck, named Pond, still goes with her each day.
