like how you play fire making it dance though the air The ‘Runt’ of the nest, Aki was constantly having to stay one step ahead of his larger siblings. Their Mother and Sire never encouraged fighting on the young dragons, but his larger siblings would get quite rough at times with their play. Even to this day it does not seem they know how to handle their small brother and leave him bruised and battered. Irritated by this, he would often pit the two against each other with an old school “He said/She Said”, then watch his schemes unfold from a safe distance. Though these schemes would not be so funny to the rest of the clan and he was branded with the title of “The Deceiving Prince”. Shunned from making any potential friends, who in their right mind would let their young one near such a liar, Aki became distant from the rest of his clan. Fine, he did not want to be associated with those imbeciles anyway. Aki knew he was smart and knew he had wits about him, thus put them to good use. He studied the local fauna, minerals, and artifacts of the Emberglow, preferring the solitude to the nasty looks his clan would give him. But his thirst for knowledge grows the older he becomes. He one day hopes to leave behind the Emberglow and look beyond its borders for more interesting things to study. The only comfort he finds is in the presence of his mother. A seasoned merchant and rumored a once great warrior, her knowledge is exponential. As well as her kindness. Being the smallest, yet her first brood, Aki knows his mother has a special soft spot for him where there isn’t for his other siblings. It irritates him at times, knowing she does this due to his size, but other times he finds himself content to snuggle with her and be her “Sunshine”. His father however...he hated him from the start. He hated how he lashed out at mother when ever she speaked out against him, even if what she said was right. The clan was held in an iron fist, all because of him. Unsurprisingly, his father hated him too. How dare he sought his mother's love, how dare he treat his siblings like this, how dare he take interest not in battle, but in flora instead. Because of him, and his mother, he learned to control his hatred. He never did showed it in front of father, but took out his anger in setting things aflame, watching them burn down to nothing. One day, he will do this to his father. But not now. There where other things to focus on. Such as his brother.

With some provisions and treasure in the satchel he had, he flew.

When they awoke, the clan found out of his disappearance. The members rejoiced. The liar was gone! The deceiver had left! His father was mad. How dare he leave? He was to take the throne! Why would he give the throne to such a coward?! His mother, silently cried for the lost of her sunshine. She hoped he was safe and sound, and begged to flamecaller to lead him to clan that would keep him safe.

He decided to travel until he was at least one territory away from his home. After travelling near the borders of lightning, light and water, resting in caverns or the occasional lair, he arrived at the wispwillow grove, where he rested at the Hidden Haven while planning his next destination. After staying for three days, he decided to join instead. The dragons here were interesting.

The fact that his most of the dragons in his old clan hated him, helped him in watching form afar. It helped him watch the members of The Haven more closely, finding out which hid their true selves underneath to those like an open book. Those with a hint of maliciousness to those with jolly natures underneath. After asking (and watching around) a bit, he soon learned that the dragons here came from various backgrounds and territories. From the Icefield to Dragonhome, they all had unique histories and pasts, and even a few with abilities that amazed him. What stood out, however, was how deceptive some of them are. He didn't know that Tharwalda had quite the amount of dead bodies hidden beneath her garden, and that helped with the growth of the plants and trees. He found out when a large ridgeback suddenly jumped out and tried to attack him when he went out to study the fauna and flora in her garden. The next thing he knew, a large amount of vines suddenly wrapped around the ridgeback and dragged him under ground. Turning around, Tharwalda was there, eyes glowing, and he felt a large amount of nature magic surrounding her, along with the black markings on her radiating shade power, sending shivers down his back. After explaining to the stunned skydancer what she did, she asked him not to tell any other members, except for the leaders, who already knew what she was doing, along with a few others. It was there he learned that some members of the clan had powers that were much more sinister than others, but instead lived in peace with each other, protecting each other and watching their backs. A truly interesting clan.

Of course, he still liked pitting dragons (and now, beastclans) against each other, mostly against petty little things. But now he is much more skilled than before. A word at the right time, a misplaced item or even a tiny rumor, could cause it. He knew when to back out at the right time, as many don't think twice about the skydancer sitting faraway from the fight, watching with an amused expression.This did not go unnoticed. In fact, a few knew that he was the cause of this little squabbles, but let it pass. It made life a little more interesting, after all.

Then one day, a letter arrived, addressed to him. He quickly realized that the handwriting matched that of his mother. Then he saw the word "URGENT" right under her name.He quickly torn it out, and read the contents. When he was done reading, without any warning, he took flight towards his old home. He left behind the letter, fluttering in the wind. Omard caught it between his claws, and began to read it. He soon frowned, and shook his head. With a sigh, he handed the letter to Araziela and said, "Tell Belphegor to ready himself, we'll have a new clan member soon, and they'll need his help.

It took him half a day before he arrived near his old clan. Mother said to wait here. He sat, and readied himself for their arrival.

Three days later, Akihiko returned. Following him was a young skydancer.

He's too smart for his own good.
And one day, that tongue of his will get him into trouble that even he won't be able to lie his way out of. But for now, he is more than content to stir up the tempers of dragons like he does with fire. And he does it so artfully that you won't ever see it coming (his mother taught him to be quiet and pull back before he struck). They make it too easy, he thinks.
