One of the most mysterious dragons of the clan, Hui showed up out of no where just like Hao. Though they were of different species, the two were both called the "one eyed twins" because of their similarity in color and constant hiding of their right eyes. The two get along well, similar to how siblings do.

While growing up, the two quit hiding their eyes and eventually grew apart upon Hui learning that Hao had married the clan's new potion brewer. Hui claims that he tore away from her a bit because he was one of the last people to learn about their marriage and he was her 'brother'. Everyone in the clan suspects that this is not the case and that the real reason is that Hui fell in love with his doppelganger. These rumors ended shortly after Hui gained himself a mate.

Other than that, Hui is gifted in combat, but multiple people comment on how he needs to eat more. Hui comments that no matter how much he eats, he will always be unnaturally thin.

Hao often says that she found Hui in rubble after his clan fell into ruin and his wealthy family had died. She offered to take Hui with her, since she, too, had been separated from her family. They came across a clan and never spoke to anyone else. Hui does deny this story, often saying he left his family to do something else and just came across Hao and saw her as useful. If you do end up to get past his hard and thick shell, he will admit that the story was true. He says nothing more about it, though.

Many people do not know that Hui values his life and believes that no matter the circumstance, he will need to stay alive. The main reason for this is because Hao was a healer and would do anything in her power to heal him after he received injuries. The only way to keep her from over working herself or falling into despair is to stay unharmed.

Hui claims to have an older brother, but no one is sure if his claims are true. A male Spiral stumbled into the clan one day, but everyone is unsure if he is Hui's missing sibling or just a lost one who needs a place to stay. No one knows if the two are brothers due to Hui never sharing more about his past; if the stories match up, then the two are siblings.
