Adair was born into the clan from Niflheim and Ellis, two long-serving Imperials. He had a gentle childhood in the Sunbeam Ruins, always well-loved by the older dragons. He was known for his kindness and warm personality even from a young age, and was expected to stay close to home to care for the elderly and the hatchlings. But he was called into Knighthood - some say influenced by the Left Hand to the Queen Dhaedry himself. He began to embark on expeditions, trained personally under the watchful eyes of Dhaedry. It was clear he excelled, so much that he gained notice even of Queen Mirathorn herself.

When his training was complete, and he was able to subdue even the most vicious and frightening of opponents, he had not so much as a single scar. Well known for his celestial beauty, he becomes a beacon of hope to the weak and undefended. While both Dhaedry and Jormungandr have tried to win his personal loyalty in their unspoken battle for influence, he seems unaffected by these plots.

But he is still naive, and somewhat immature - though his quiet resilience makes it easy to mistake this for valor. He has a dragon's fondness for collecting shiny, beautiful things.
