ShootingStar kept his personal conflicts deep within himself using his strength of will to remain unemotional when his parents joined the Conflict leaving the torn and struggling clan in his hands. Through the many times the beast clans would attack preying on the small clan until everyone had basic fighting skills taught them as soon as possible. Through the loss of his first hatchlings to the forces of the Earthshaker. Through the hopeful times when Danu arrived and he underwent the Runic Ritual, which awakened something within him that started to grow and thrive when he met Midnight Magic the powerful yet graceful Tundra and it sang when he traced his living ancestors back to the Ice Flight.

This was the turning point he had come to and he knew he would have to take a journey of discovery to understand this pull inside of him. He spoke with Garth a majestic Tundra that had undergone the transformation learning where and when he should go. When he took leave of Midnight Magic knowing but not yet telling her the depth of his love that would always center him at her side. When Danu offered him a rare transformational ritual he didn't even look at it until days later when he had travelled deep into the Southern IceField searching for the single location that would perfect the transformational ritual that would change his nocturne exterior to the breed favored by the IceWarden the deity of his ancestors.

On a frozen moonless night surrounded by the snow and Ice Shooting Star performed the transformational ritual that awakened his bloodline to the Tundra breed and the Icy touch of the Icewarden. Knowing as he did that no matter where he was his future children would all be touched with the power of the Icewarden within their awakening runic abilities.

When he awakened in the darkest moments before dawn to see his runes shimmer and twinkle like the stars above and his wings softly shimmering against the snowbank, he knew he would have a need of this location for others feeling the call within their blood lost but not forgotten.

He returned to the Runic Accent Clan turned over the leadership to the newly formed council that surrounded his mate, and only retained the royal title for diplomatic purposes. In time he shared the information of the transformation with the few that felt a call as he had.
