"She wants to what??"

Bringing her mate to the Healers Hall is one of Gry's greatest regrets. The pair had been separated one night while traveling in a freak storm driven by arcane magic that even Axel's affinity to water could not quench. When she had found him again he has been horribly burned and injured. Unable to move him without hurting him more she had taken off into the fading storm, searching for help in the clan they had been trying to edge around. Carefully she had returned with the aid they sorely needed. If she had known the price her gentle partner would pay she would have insisted on waiting the weather out to travel that night.

Her normally calm Axel had since become jittery, panicked, and prone to intense headaches when he overtaxed himself with tasks given to him by the Royal Physician, Core. The very one that caused him such distress and the one Gry most wanted to smother in her sleep.
