A young and determined messenger Beatrix is determined to do her best at her new job. But as she is out making a delivery, on her first day alone. She is taken by the beauty of how the sun's rays shine against the moving waters of The Fishspine Reef. Unknown to her, there is also one of the guards enjoying the morning sunshine. As she is making her way she remembers her mission given to her this morning to deliver a message to Schmendrick. A bumbling magician that was silly and turned himself into a white tiger and couldn't figure out how to undo it. Lost and being upset with herself Beatrix notices a Guard watching her and is thrilled that she has found someone to help her find her way. A little shy and totally unsure of letting a Guard know she was daydreaming and not doing her job as seriously as she should have been. She takes a steadying breath and goes up to him and asks for directions. Taken off guard and lost in her beauty Infiniti tells her that yes he can direct her and offers to show her the way. In case she takes a wrong turn. But little did she know Infiniti had no clue what she "this beauty Beatrix" had asked him. So they spend the better part of the morning absently wondering around until she realizes they were going in circles. By this time is was obvious to the both of them that they were in love... Love at first sight on his part.
