King of Bones

Most of the clan tends to avoid interacting with Lazarus. His lair is decorated in the bones of the hundreds of creatures the Clan hunters bring home. Noomi is unafraid of him, bringing in fresh kills and collections almost daily and staying to watch Lazarus clean them with sharp claws and deft movements. Sometimes Lazarus narrates what he is doing but more often than not they sit in companionable silence.

Lazarus' skin is not affected by translucency. His flesh still disintegrates from his bones, leaving them exposed, bare and sun-bleached. After being ousted from his father's lair, Lazarus picked up the trail of the Gatekeeper's bloodline, and followed Noomi to the Macabre Clan. He chose to stay with her when she settled among them, both meant to be where the sunlight does not always reach the ground.

The only visitor to his lair, aside from his mate and the Clan's best hunter, is Erroneous. Others in the Clan often see him slipping smoothly into his lair's entrance, and he always stays for hours before emerging. Sometimes he leaves with a small bag, sometimes he leaves empty handed. No one has been brave enough to ask either dragon what their business is...
