Biography
KING, LOREKEEPER, EX-FIGHTER
Atlas didn't want to be king.
His parents were two dragons who had the misfortune of being abandoned eggs. Outcast by the rest of the world for their lack of pedigree, they raised their three children, Atlas, Swamp, and Crystal, in solitude. After they left, Atlas and his sisters trained themselves to become fighters.
Atlas, a nervous dragon, was nevertheless more even headed than the childish, quick tempered Swamp, and more put together than the air-headed Crystal. He grew in confidence as he helped his sisters navigate the world and tear their territory out of the beast clans's grips. He plotted each foray and kept track of their goods, he watched their funds and haggled for clothes, he sold off familiars and dabbled in brewing. Atlas did whatever it took to keep his sisters well and safe.
They soon found dragons from all over who heard of their fighting skill, and came to train with them. While they never stayed for long, some found mates, lifelong friends, and new talents in the clan. Atlas organized the whole ordeal, Swamp took over most training and gathering activities, and Ice helped with training and made a safe nesting ground for the folks there.
Before they knew it, the trio had become a clan of trainers and exalters, and Atlas had led them into it.
The first dragon to join them permanently was Host, a vicious, cruel thing who'd been badly injured. They provided Host for a place to stay while he healed his injuries, and found that he was a better doctor than the three of them combined, although this was more due to his refusal to die rather than any sort of medical training. He has not been medically trained, period.
Next to come was Ehno, with his brother, Felix. The two of them were pedigree-less and welcomed by Atlas. Crystal and Felix got on well, and the duo decided to stay. Ehno stepped up as a fighter, allowing Atlas to dedicate his time to running the clan, and Felix took over trading.
As the clan grew in size, dragons began to trickle to them, seeking a home. Lesure came to be their treasurer, Fortuna came and contributed Gathering, Jovial and Calnos came to bring in festivals and generate a bit of economy for the group.
