Hyacintha took a sideways glance, scanning the scroll-covered desk. "Carac, please take this," she said, lifting her paper as the large Poisonous Toridae snatched it up and carried it off. "Carac, could you grab me another quill while you're over there? I need another one..." she dragged her current one through her claws, squinting as the porcupine quill splintered into pieces in her heated claws. Carac ran into the room, curling up by the stone door at the entrance. The double chambered doors blocked out the water, while the castle inside the reef was alive and watertight. Her eyes flickered to the door as water seeped underneath. "Carac? Did you close the door?" she snarls, lifting him by his venomous tail onto a pillow as she snuck out and closed the door. "Good. You should get some rest, I'll take over the papers..." He drifted off before she could say more, his claws over his tail, asleep on the ground.
