Kylar is a bit of a wary and timid fellow, despite the stature most his breed possesses, but he still regularly finds it in himself to get into all sorts of trouble.

He's playful, and was known around his clan as one of 3 troublemakers when he was a hatchling, though he was definitely the more soft-spoken of the little group. Rather than suggest any "dangerous" exploits on his own, it was usually the other two hatchlings he followed that tended to drag him with.

He enjoys the bright and colorful, and can often be seen playing about with all sorts of odd bits and ends of apparel, or salvaging plush toys. He has few qualms about light roughhousing, too, and can often be found tumbling about with his friends - or laughing as he watches them do the tumbling.

Lately his general interest in all familiars has become more of an active study - especially on those familiars capable of flight. He's very new to his studies...

Kylar can also often be found at Baldwin's Bubbling Brew, reducing the clan's excess material so the more cauldron-savvy of the lair always have plenty of material handy.



Kylar "collected" his poultrygeist, Thori, while exploring the Boreal Wood with two clan members more established in the coli than he. A foul little thing, it appears to have a fondness for theater.

Poe ♀ Magpie Sphinx Familiar The Magpie Sphinx will often try to camouflage itself with the sky of the savanna, which is always a roiling amalgamation of the grays and blacks of the storm season. 2300 A nervous and shy familiar, Poe doesn't like other dragons particularly much. She'll hide under furniture and in the deepest reaches of the den whenever a guest arrives, and won't leave her hiding until they leave, even if they're around for several hours - and in some cases, days. She loves taking naps with Kylar in the vicinity, or in sunny patches of floor. She dislikes Thori.

King Elizibeth ♂ Bellus Glamourtail Familiar This species of fish is known for its ability to rapidly change color. Rather than blend in, they seek to intimidate and infatuate their target. 0 A curious and playful familiar, King Elizabeth rushes to greet any probing claws and feathers that enter the water of his tank, and is especially joyful if they come with food. Though he's an energetic fellow, his energy is wasted as his inaccuracy has him scurrying for pellets long after they've already missed their mark and settled on the tank's floor. He gets along surprisingly well with Poe, but dislikes Brody.

Kubrick ♂ Dwarf Hainu Macaw Familiar You can teach this pup everything... except how to mimic speech. (Colored by Sandwich.) 1300 A grumpy but excitable familiar, Kubrick is a puppy at heart despite his increasing age. He's not very nimble anymore these days, and will frequently trip himself over when making too-sharp turns, or simply...stand there as passing dragons are about to plow into him. He barks at everything, but especially equine familiars. He dislikes Nihm and Thori, but will nap with Brody often.

Brody ♂ Irregular Nekomata Familiar Its lack of fur should not be seen as detriment, but an amazing opportunity to knit tiny kitty sweaters. 1000 A social but ridiculous familiar, Brody behaves more like a monkey or a dog some days than he does any variety of feline. Constantly found within burrows of blankets, perching in precarious places, and sometimes even on the back and shoulders of Kylar and other visiting dragons, he's constantly seeking the company of others, as well as heat. He likes napping with Nihm and Kubrick.

Nihm ♀ Flora Cerdae Familiar As calm and majestic as cerdae look, they must routinely spar to wear down their horns, which grow at an alarmingly fast rate. 2000 A mean but charming familiar, Nihm is a bit of a jerk to everyone she encounters. She'll cuddle and play with Kylar one minute, but resume jabbing his leg with her horn the next. As pretty and creamy white as she is, she loves dirt. She just adores rolling around in it, whether it's outdoors or home to a small potted plant - a plant which she may, in fact, eat as well. She's still very lovable, though, and guests can't help but coo. She dislikes Kubrick, but likes Thori and Poe.

Lakelight Weaver Familiar These raucous birds are known for lifting colorful thread, fabric, reeds, and feathers to weave into vibrant nests. 500

Mr. Ages ♂ Armored Greatowl Familiar It is arguable whether the armor makes the owl more or less deadly. Without the armor their flight is nearly silent. 2500 A very relaxed and food-motivated familiar, Mr. Ages rarely gets up to anything unless it's easily accessible and tasty. He is so relaxed, in fact, that more than one visiting dragon has made the mistake of tripping over his small form, as he simply refuses to move...fortunately for all, the relaxed behavior also means he doesn't seem too concerned about being stepped on, and rarely nips or pecks. He keeps to himself, but can occasionally be seen fighting Nihm.
