Acropora has always preferred silence. Even as a hatchling she would wander away from her peers to listen to the quiet whispers of the waves. When she was old enough to decide her fate, she chose magic. Training under her brother Abalone, Acropora learned to listen to the subtle whispers of magic. Soon she was strong enough in her study of the art of healing to begin training hatchlings that were to be sent off to the Tidelord. Her brother in arms, Icarus, was a vain and talkative dragon that she begrudgingly held a fond companionship with. When the clan she was born and trained under, The Clan of Nivix, had wandered from the Sea of a Thousand currents to the Tangled Wood, the young Skydancer, longing for a journey of her own, set out to find a new lair.
She traveled far and wide, trekking from the depths of the Tidelord's domain to the Shifting Expanse. Soon after, she found what she sought: a young and relatively small tribe, dubbed the Arc. There, she was not only provided a haven, but was brought in as a warrior and full member. Acropora quickly made friends with the clever and ambitious dragons, and was happy to serve the StormCatcher alongside them. She can often be found in silence on a stormy night, listening to the thunder and pounding rain, and pondering over what has become of her dear old friends back at Clan Nivix.
