Shyamal usually prefers her own company (or her familiars') over that of others. Once in a while she enjoys spending time with Aether; they watch Sorren get into trouble.
-Despite all the time she has spent in this clan, she has yet to meet a dragon she would accept as a true mate. ...Maybe 19 children is enough for her? Guess not.

Hunter in the Dark

It has recently come to light that she might be not only an assassin, but the former leader of an assassins' guild. There's no telling how many of her associates live in the clan. Shyamal insists than if she knows of any assassins in the clan, they pose no danger to her clanmates.
